Forty years ago Cardiff City played in a semi-final - against SV Hamburg in the European Cup-winners Cup, and I was there in Ninian Park for it. I was ten years old. Former Sports Minister Alun Pugh was behind the same goal as me at the Grange end, we both discovered thirty-five plus years later. I'd been at the quarter-final when we beat Torpedo Moscow as well.
I'm planning to be at Wembley next month too. Bluebirds!
